CSE FIESTA at BUBT

BUBT CSE FIESTA 2013, the seven day annual mega programme of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) concluded on February 23, 2013. The fiesta included a number events and different types of brainstorming contests. The prize distribution ceremony was held on February 23, 2013 at the permanent campus of BUBT, located at Rupnagar, Mirpur. The chief guest of the programme was A F M Sarwar Kamal, Member, BUBT Trustee Board. Academicians from different universities were also present at the programme.
The fiesta of this year arranged four contests. The chief Judge of the ACM-ICPC Bangladesh National Programming Contest-2013 was Professor Dr M Kaykobad, the renowned Professor of the Department of CSE, BUET. Seventy one teams from different private and public universities of the country enthusiastically participated on this contest. BUET Choker won the first position solving seven problems. Meshkat Missing and Kay Dynasty of BUET secured the second and third positions. The top ten teams of the programming contest were awarded with crests, certificates and prize money. The other teams were presented with certificates of participations.
