Four JMB suspects arrested in Lalmonirhat

Four suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) from beside the Muktijoddha Complex in Patgram upazila on Wednesday night.

The arrestees are Apel Hossain, 31, Sadique Hossain, 26, sons of Nazrul Islam of Sahebdanga village, Mokhlesar Rahman, 40, son of Hafizar Rahman of the same village, and Jahid Hasan, 27, son of Mazibar Rahman of Kafirbazar village.

Apel is president of ward No 6 unit of Jubo League in Patgram municipality.

Rab-13 Commander Mozammel Haque said, on a tip-off, a team of Rab-13 conducted a drive in the area and arrested the four suspected JMB members.
