45,000 Yaba seized in Comilla

A drug dealer was arrested from Jagannathpur Chowmuni on Chakbazar-Bibir Bazar road in Comilla Sadar upazila yesterday.

Comilla Kotwali police arrested Mizanur Rahman Monir, 50, son of Aftab Uddin Ahmed of Ramdhonpur in Comilla Sadar Dakkhin upazila, and seized 45,000 Yaba pills from his possession.

The operation was led by Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge, also Inspector (investigation), Salauddin.

Newly-joined Comilla Superintendent of Police (SP) Syed Nurul Islam said this at a briefing at his office on first day of his joining.
