Police constable among three held with yaba

Three persons including a police constable were held with yaba pills in their possession from a hotel in Khulna city on Tuesday, law enforcers said. 

The arrestees were identified as Constable Pritom Roy, posted in Khulna Police Lines, and his cohorts Sumon Mondal, and Shawon Roy.

On information, a team of police entered the Mid Night Residential Hotel and arrested the trio from a room and recovered nine yaba pills, Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Khulna Sadar Police Station said.

A case has been filed against them, the OC added.
