Pabna road accident kills schoolgirl

A schoolgirl was killed and her brother injured as a speeding truck hit their motorbike in Library Bazar area of Pabna town yesterday.

Mehedi Hasan Bishal, 15, was riding the motorbike to take his sister Bindu Khatun, 13, to school, said police.

Bindu was a sixth-grader of Pabna Police Lines School. Mehedi was admitted to a hospital.
