Man killed ‘by wife’ in Sunamganj

A woman allegedly hacked her husband to death in Natunpara village of Dirai upazila in Sunamganj yesterday.

They arrested the woman, Siddika Chowdhury, who attacked Shah Alam Choudhury, 60, with an axe, said ABM Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Dirai Police Station.

The couple had been in family altercation for years, said the OC.

The body was sent to a Sunamganj hospital for autopsy.
