Man arrested with 6,000 yaba pills

Police arrested an alleged drug peddler with 6,000 yaba pills in Old Railway Station area of Chittagong early yesterday.

The arrestee is Iqbal Hossain Mamun, 27, of Ramu, said Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station. Tipped-off, law enforcers conducted a drive in the area and arrested Iqbal, he said. A case was filed.
