M Abdur Rahim's death anniv today

Today is the second death anniversary of M Abdur Rahim, a close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and western zone chairman of the then Mujibnagar government.

Rahim was a Liberation War organiser, a veteran lawyer and a recipient of the Swadhinata Padak, said a press release. 

On this occasion, his family members and various organisations have arranged a four-day programme including a doa mahfil, Qurankhwani, memorial discussions, blood donation and medical camp for the poor in Dinajpur, the release added.
