2 injured as bus hits motorbike

Two persons were injured as a bus hit their motorcycle from behind near Dhaka Cantonment area yesterday afternoon.

The incident took place around 3:30pm near ECB Chattar, said Kazi Shahan Haque, officer-in-charge of Cantonment Police Station.

The injured are Atikul Islam, 28, and his cousin Fatema, 19. Atikul is being treated at a hospital for injuries in the left leg while Fatema took first aid, said police.

Police seized the bus of “Robrob Paribahan” and detained its driver Sazu.
