2 construction workers die in Dhaka

Two construction workers died today after falling off an under-construction building in Dhaka’s Dakkhin Khan.

The deceased were identified as Akhteruzzaman, 30, and Habib Byapari, 50, SI Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, told The Daily Star.  

They were plastering the walls of the building at the sixth floor when they fell. Chan Mia, a co-worker, told The Daily Star that the incident took place around 4:30pm.

Doctors at DMCH declared them dead when they were rushed there.
