Citi Bangladesh celebrates International Women's Day

Hosted by Managing Director and Citi Country Officer, Rashed Maqsood, Citi Bangladesh organised a thought-sharing session to mark the 102nd International Women's Day (IWD) 2013 for more than 60 professional women comprising of clients, community partners, Citi alumni and employees. The subject of the programme was “Enabling Progress -- Connecting Women. Inspiring Change. Making Progress.”
Guest speakers of the programme included Sara Ali, Managing Director of Bitopi Advertising Limited; Farzana Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director and Group Chief Financial Officer of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited; and Mahia Juned, Executive Vice President of The City Bank Limited, says a press release.
Others who spoke at the event were Citi Bangladesh's Head of Legal, Shamiun Akhter Ela, and Head of Financial Institutions, Nuzhat Anwar. The programme was hosted by Managing Director and Citi Country Officer for Bangladesh, Rashed Maqsood.
Citi is hosting over 190 events in more than 125 cities in 87 countries around the world to inspire and recognise women for their great economic and social progress.
