Maritime expo in Ctg from Sep 6

A three-day expo on marine and offshore industry will be held at GEC Convention Centre in Chittagong from September 6.

Savor International Ltd and Fireworks Trade Media Group are jointly organising the event titled “Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo 2018 (BIMOX)”.

A total 160 booths from 14 countries including Australia, the UK, Singapore, Germany, Malaysia, India and China will be set up at the expo, Savor International said in a statement yesterday. Deck machinery, steering gears, shafting, thrusters, gearbox, rolling machine, and Caterpillar marine propulsion engines will be showcased at the expo.

World famous marine industry players such as Palmarine, Schaller Automation, and Priboy Shipping Supplies Ltd will showcase their products.

Among local companies, Khulna Shipyard, BanglaCAT, Jakson International Ltd and Celestial Tech will also take part in the event.
