BNP man dies after clash with AL activists

A BNP activist died after being hacked during a clash between BNP and Awami League activists in Rajshahi city on Tuesday night.
Motihar police said Ziarul Haque, 45, died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. Deceased's nephew Omar Faruk, a BNP activist, is undergoing treatment at the hospital as he was beaten with sticks.
The incident occurred when a group led by Ziarul locked into a clash with another group of AL activists led by Zakarul Islam over establishing dominance over the sand business in Shyampur Balumohol, said the police.
