Gas cut to hit parts of N’ganj for 72 hours from April 24

Southern parts of Dhaka to face low gas pressure

Gas supply will remain suspended in some parts of Narayanganj for 72 hours from April 24 to April 26 due to emergency maintenance works on the pipeline.

Gas pressure will also remain low in the southern part of Dhaka during this time, according to a circular from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited.

Titas will conduct maintenance work on the Japanese Economic Zone, Araihazar, Rupganj and Narayanganj gas transmission lines. The work will be carried out from zero hours of April 24 to zero hours of April 26, the circular said.

"There will be no gas supply for all kinds of consumers in Lakhsmankhola, Ruposhi, Rupganj, Bhulta, Kanchan, Vatpara, Murapara, Borpa, Tarabo, Perabo area.

Among the industries, City Economic Zone, Meghna Energy, Summit Power- REB (Madhabdi) and City Sugar Industries will not get gas for 72 hours.

Gas pressure will be low in Araihazar, Madhobdi, Panchdona, Narayanganj, Fatulla, Syampur, Kadamtoli, Keraniganj, Jinjira and Dhaka's southern areas, the statement wrote.
