Paturia-Daulatdia ferry service resumes after 5hrs

Ferry services on the Paturia-Daulatdia waterway resumed after a suspension of for nearly five hours due to dense fog.

The ferry services resumed at 10:30am this morning, said Shah Md Khaled Newaz, deputy general manager of Aricha Regional Office of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), reports our Manikganj correspondent.

Ferry services on the Paturia-Daulatdia route were suspended from 5:45am today to avoid accidents on the waterway, said Newaz.

Meanwhile, ferry services on the Aricha-Kazirhat waterway are normal, he added.
