Dhaka Elevated Expressway: Tk 18.5 lakh toll collected in 24 hours

More than 22,800 vehicles have travelled through the Dhaka Elevated Expressway in 24 hours till 6:00am today.

During the period, over Tk 18.5 lakh was collected as tolls, said sources at the project.

The key points -- Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Kemal Ataturk Avenue in Banani, Mohakhali, and Farmgate -- of the expressway saw the highest traffic, with 12,242 vehicles using the segment.

Also, some 2,425 vehicles travelled from Kuril, Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Mohakhali, and Farmgate points while 2,892 vehicles travelled from Banani to Kuril, and 5,246 vehicles from Tejgaon to Mohakhali, Kamal Ataturk, and Kuril.
