Over 100 JCD men hurt in BCL attacks: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday claimed that over a hundred JCD leaders and activists were injured in "violent" attacks by BCL on Dhaka University campus and the high court premises.

He said this while talking to reporters after visiting the injured JCD members at a hospital.

Fakhrul said the PM's "offensive" comment on Khaleda Zia has naturally triggered a strong wave of protest. They [government] have now resorted to violence to contain it. "We strongly protest and condemn the incident."
