BNP to stage countrywide protests on Dec 13 and 24

The BNP today announced mass processions and demonstrations in protest of the attack on and arrest of party leaders and activists. 

At the end of the party's divisional rally in Dhaka, BNP's standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said on December 13, there would be countrywide mass demonstration in protest of arrest of BNP leaders and activists since the clash with police in front of the Nayapaltan head office on December 7. 

On December 24, the party will hold processions in all divisional and metropolitan cities to realise their 10-point demand, which includes resignation of the current government and the formation of a caretaker government
