BNP rally begins in Barishal; crowd brims over 3km off venue

BNP's Barishal divisional rally began around 11am today (November 5, 2022) with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

The Bangabandhu Udyan premises have been filled with party leaders and activists since this morning.

Thousands of BNP men are seen within a 3-kilometer radius of the rally's location.

During the past three days, party leaders and workers have arrived from several divisional districts. Even though the event was not set to begin until 2pm, local activists and leaders had already begun addressing the rally, reports our local correspondent from the spot.

BNP men from different upazilas of Barishal and five other districts in the division are still travelling to the city by boats, trawlers, motorcycles and even on foot as two-day bus and three-wheeler strikes began yesterday morning.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other central leaders have arrived in Barishal on the occasion of the rally.
