BNP holds mass processions

BNP today held mass processions in the capital waving black flags as part of their one-point movement demanding the resignation of the government and elections under a non-partisan neutral government.

A procession organised by the party's Dhaka South city unit started at 4:20pm today from Nayapaltan intersection in the capital and came to an end in Narinda of Old Dhaka.

BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas inaugurated the procession.

Huge gatherings were seen in alleys and adjacent roads in the Nayapaltan area.

Meanwhile, Dhaka North city unit BNP also brought out a procession at 4:00pm from Shyamoli intersection to Bosila in Mohammadpur.

BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury led the procession.
