BNP to hold nationwide demos today over 'police attack'

The BNP will stage demonstrations across the country today protesting "police's attack" on party leaders and activists.

The party made the announcement after holding its standing committee meeting, the highest policy making body of the party, last night at party Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office, said a BNP press release.

Condemning the police attack, they demanded immediate release of the detained leaders and activists, the release added.
