BCL central rally rescheduled to Dec 6 for BNP rally: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said Bangladesh Chhatra League's (BCL) central rally will be held on December 6 instead of December 8 to ensure BNP's December 10 rally is held in a smooth manner.

Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said this while addressing the tri-annual conference of his party being held in Pirojpur today. He joined the event virtually from his residence.

He said the decision was taken as per party chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's directive.

"The government will not obstruct BNP's December 10 rally…" he said.
