14-year-old killed in AL factional clash in Lakshmipur

A 14-year-old boy was killed and 10 others were injured during a clash between two groups of activists of Awami League in Lakshmipur's Raipur upazila this morning.

The deceased was identified as Rasel Hossain, a resident of Charkachhia village of the upazila.

Shipon Barua, officer-in-charge of Raipur Police Station, confirmed the development to The Daily Star.

The clash took place in the morning between the two groups of Awami League over establishing supremacy, the OC said.
