JS adopts obituary motion on Farooque

Jatiya Sangsad yesterday adopted a condolence motion expressing grief over the deaths of some distinguished personalities, including ruling party lawmaker, actor and freedom fighter Akbar Hossain Pathan (Farooque).

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury moved the condolence motion.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina prayed for the eternal peace of Farooque's departed soul.
