Kalu Mia, of Keshabpur upazila of Jashore, has become the talk of the locality ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. The four-year-old bull weighs about 45 maunds.

Azizur Rahman, a farmer from Meherpur village in Keshabpur, has been raising Kalu Mia with a lot of care. The bull is being offered at Tk 16 lakh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Every day, people from various locations come to see the Kalu Mia, reports our Benapole correspondent.

Kalu Mia receives four meals every day. Besides the usual grass, maize and bran, the bull is also fed ripe bananas, lemons, apples, nuts, and bread.

After purchasing him from Satkhira, Azizur says he never restrained Kalu Mia with a rope.

Azizur said, "My daughter Poly Khatun and I raised Kalu Mia. We have always tried to provide the best food for him. Never once have I given him food of poor quality. I reckon that's why we never needed to take him to a veterinarian even for once in four years."

He also declared that Kalu Mia's new owner will get a motorcycle as gift.
