PM pays courtesy call to president

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today paid a courtesy call to President Abdul Hamid at his office at the Jatiya Sangsad.

"During the meeting, they discussed different state-level issues, especially the steps undertaken by the government for the socio-economic development of the country," President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told UNB.

Also, President Hamid thanked PM Hasina for unveiling his autobiographical book "Amar Jibanniti, Amar Rajniti" at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2023, he added.
