4 cops promoted to additional IG

Four police officials with the rank of deputy inspector general have been promoted to additional inspector general.

The Public Security Division of the home ministry yesterday issued a circular in this regard, stating that the order will come into effect after they join their new posts.

The promoted officials are Jamil Ahmed, Humayun Kabir, YM Belalur Rahman, and Mir Rezaul Alam.
