Parts of Khulna reeking with stench from waste of slaughtered animals

The Khulna City Corporation's Conservancy Department has not yet removed sacrificial animal waste from various parts of the city till this noon.

As a result, the stench is spreading across many neighborhoods. Several streets of Boyra area in the city are littered with sacrificial animal waste, reports our Khulna correspondent. 

Md Abdul Aziz, chief conservancy officer of KCC told The Daily Star, "We have removed waste from almost all the wards. After our departure, homeowners dumped waste again at some places. We'll clear them up once again."
