Ensure action against perpetrators of communal violence: PM to Home Minister

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given instruction to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan to identify those responsible for the attacks on temples and houses of the Hindu community during Durga Puja celebration.

The prime minister asked to find out the perpetrators through fair investigation and to take stern action against them as soon as possible, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam told reporters after the weekly Cabinet meeting today.

The premier presided over the meeting from her official residence Gono Bhaban.
