245 proposals to be discussed in DC conference from Jan 24

The three-day annual conference of the deputy commissioners will begin on Tuesday in Dhaka where a total of 245 proposals will be discussed.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the conference, Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain said at a press conference at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat today.

The proposals will be discussed in 26 working sessions. Among the sessions, at least 20 will take place with different ministries, he said.

Of the proposals, the highest 23 were for the health ministry followed by 23 proposals for land ministry and 13 for the water resources ministry.

The DCs placed 242 proposals in the last year's conference, of which 177 were implemented, the cabinet secretary told journalists.
