Narayanganj city polls: JP tells party men to not support any candidate

Jatiya Party today instructed its leaders and activists to not extend any direct or indirect support to any candidate in the Narayanganj City Corporation election.

JP Presidium Member Liaquat Hossain Khoka, MP, gave the instruction on the direction of the party Chairman GM Quader, said a press release today.

Jatiya Party has not given nominations to any candidate in the NCC elections scheduled to be held on January 16, said the release.

"If any leader or activist of JP is campaigning in the election on behalf of any candidate, they are requested to be inactive immediately. Otherwise, disciplinary action would be taken for violating the party discipline," the release also said.
