Macron pays homage to Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi 32

French President Emmanuel Macron paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi 32 around 9:30am today.

After paying a visit to the museum, Macron went to the PMO for a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The French president reached Dhaka from the G20 summit in New Delhi last evening.

Deals on various issues, including buying second satellite and aircrafts from Airbus, may be signed between the two countries during Macron's visit to Bangladesh.

Macron is scheduled to leave Dhaka in the afternoon.
