SSC question paper leak: Headmaster placed on 3-day remand in Kurigram

A local court today (September 29, 2022) placed Lutfar Rahman, headmaster of Nehal Uddin Pilot Girls' High School on a three-day remand in connection with question paper leak of SSC exams in Kurigram's Bhurungamari upazila.

Kurigram Judicial Magistrate Suman Ali has granted the remand around noon, our lalmonirhat correspondent reports quoting Officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhurungamari Police Station Alamgir Hossain.

The court set October 2 as the next date for hearing the remand prayer of two other accused -- Islamic teacher Jobayer Hossain and Agriculture teacher Hamidul Islam of the same school, said OC Alamgir.

According to police, Lutfar Rahman, SSC exam centre's secretary in Lalmonirhat, Jobayer Hossain, Hamidul Islam, Bengali teacher Sohel Chowdhury and English teacher Rasel Ahmed and peon of the school Sujan Mia were arrested on charge of SSC question paper leak on September 20.
