DU student dies falling from building in Adabar

A Dhaka University student died after falling from the rooftop of a building at Japan Garden City in Dhaka's Adabar area.

The deceased was identified as Zaina Habib Prapti, a second-year student of Accounting and Information System.

Kazi Shahiduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Adabar Police Station, said they came to know that the girl died after falling from the rooftop of a 15-storey building in the afternoon.

"Police members rushed there. We will investigate whether it was an accidental death or a case of suicide," the OC said.
