52-year-old arrested over rape of minor in Ctg

Police today arrested a man in a case filed for raping a 10- year-old in the port city's Chandgaon area.

The suspect Md Bulbul Uddin Sonal (52) was arrested early today from his residence at Hamid Char area of Chandgaon, reports our Chattogtam staff correspondent quoting Mainur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Police Station.

"The man raped the minor for two days in absence of her parents at her residence," said the OC.

"After the victim disclosed the matter to her parents, they filed a case at the police station on Wednesday accusing Bulbul," he added.
