47 cops injured during yesterday’s clash: DMP

At least 47 policemen were injured in yesterday's clash between law enforcers and BNP activists in Nayapaltan area, Dhaka Metropolitan Police today said.

They provided a list of the injured policemen who took treatment at the Central Police Hospital in Rajarbagh and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Of the injured, 16 cops are admitted at the Central Police Hospital and one at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Besides, 30 received first aid from the Central Police Hospital.

Among the injured are a deputy commissioner of police, two additional deputy commissioners, an assistant commissioner of police, two OCs, an inspector, several sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors and police constables of DMP.
