Two students were detained by Dhaka University's proctorial team and handed over to the police today as they allegedly captured a photo inside Dhaka University's Curzon Hall during the "Ka" unit admission test.

The university Proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani  confirmed the latest development to The Daily Star.

The "Ka" unit admission test was held today from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

According to police and witnesses, the two students entered the exam hall when DU Vice Chancellor Prof M Akhtaruzzaman entered the hall to visit admission test proceedings.

The DU Proctorial team questioned them to try and learn the reason behind entering the hall. After quizzing them, the team handed them over to the Shahbagh police.

Officer-in-Charge Moudut Hawlader told The Daily Star "We have interrogated them and we have been ensured that they went to visit the exam hall. We will release them after more quizzing."
