Motorcyclist killed as private car hits bike in Natore

A motorcyclist was killed after a private car hit his motorcycle on Natore-Pabna highway at Baraigram upazila in Natore this (October 3, 2022) afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 40, son of late Abdul Jabbar of Hijli village in Singra upazila. He was the area manager of a pharmaceutical company, reports our Natore correspondent.

Sub-Inspector Firoz Hossain of Banpara Highway Police Station said a private car going from Dhaka to Pabna hit the motorcycle from the opposite direction in Coinbazar graveyard area on the highway around 5:30pm, leaving the motorcyclist dead on the spot.

He also said that the private car and motorcycles were seized. Efforts are on to arrest the car driver.
