Man crushed under train in Jhenaidah

An unidentified man has been crushed under the wheels of a train near Kotchandpur Railway Station in Jhenaidah.

Locals found the body in Adarshapara area near Pillar-47 around 7:30am today and informed police, reports our Jhenaidah correspondent.

Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, Jhenaidah Model Police Station's Sub-inspector Harun Mia said.

The body was taken to Jashore Hospital for an autopsy.

If the identity is confirmed, the body will be handed over to the family. Otherwise, it will be handed over to Anjuman Mofidul Islam, according to the law enforcers.
