Fire at Kakrail SA Paribahan office brought under control

A fire that broke out at the office of SA Paribahan in Dhaka's Kakrail area this morning has been brought under control after around 45 minutes of frantic efforts.

The fire originated around 10:10am, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of fire service media wing.

On information, ten firefighting units reached the spot and brought the fire under control at 10:58am, said the warehouse inspector said.  

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
