Fire at hardware market in Chawkbazar under control

The fire, that broke out at a hardware market in Dhaka's Chawkbazar last night, has been brought under control.

Ten firefighting units brought the fire under control at 1:05am that broke out at 10:44pm, Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters told The Daily Star.

The damage and the reason behind the fire will be known after investigation, he said.

No casualty was reported during the fire.
