Fire at BRTC bus depot in Dhaka’s Kamalapur doused

A fire broke out at a bus depot of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) in Kamalapur area of Dhaka this evening.

The fire broke out at the depot around 6:28pm, said Enamul Haque, a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence's control room.

On information, four units of fire-fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 6:50pm, Enamul Haque told The Daily Star.

Faisalur Rahman, station officer of Ramna Fire Service Station, told The Daily Star that a BTRC bus was completely burnt while another bus was damaged partially in the fire.
