Ten persons were injured after a fire broke out at Mugda Medical College Hospital in Dhaka yesterday.

Among the injured were seven hospital staffers and one Covid vaccine-seeker. They sustained from six percent to 30 percent burns, with one ward assistant sustaining injuries in his respiratory tracks.

The victims told reporters at the institute that the fire originated at the ICU of the hospital and spread before they could run to a safe place.
