Modi to chair key meet amid cabinet reshuffle speculations

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting of the full council of ministers today to likely review the functioning of a few ministries amidst speculations of his first cabinet reshuffle since returning to power two years ago.  

A cabinet reshuffle could be effected due to some vacancies caused due to untimely deaths like Ram Vilas Paswan and Suresh Angadi and exits of regional allies Shiromani Akali Dal and Shiv Sena from Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance.
