Abducted girl rescued, 4 trafficked to India return

An abducted schoolgirl was rescued by Bogra police from Dupchacia bus stand area of the district on Wednesday noon.
The 16-year-old girl hailed from Atgram village under Chamrul union in the upazila, reports our correspondent.
Police quoting family members said the girl was abducted on the way to SSC examination centre.
Failing to find her out, her father filed a case with Dupchacia PS on March 24, accusing seven people although she was abducted on February 26.
According to the case statement, she was abducted by Saidul Islam, 20, son of Jaher Ali of Paikpara village under Kalai upazila of Joypurhat district and his cohorts.
In Jessore, four Bangladeshi teenage girls returned home on Wednesday from India after languishing in jail for one year there, reports our Benapole correspondent.
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed the girls over to BGB authorities at Benapole check post around evening.
All the victims hailed from different areas of Khulna and Faridpur districts.
BGB sources said that human traffickers took the girls to India one year ago promising to arrange good jobs there.
However, they were arrested by Kolkata police and later sent to jail.
