Sohel Taj returns?

State Minister for Home Tanjim Ahmad Sohel Taj was scheduled to return from the US yesterday on expiry of leave for a month, but home ministry officials could not say anything about his return.
"We know nothing about him. He did not give any message to the ministry about his return home," a senior official said when contacted yesterday.
The state minister left for the US on June 9 to stay with his family.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Sahara Khatun is in Singapore for treatment since July 2. She suffered waist injuries as she fell in the washroom of her official residence.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now looking after activities of the home ministry.
Sources said she might give charge of the ministry to a minister for an interim period.
Prior to leaving for the US, Sohel Taj had reportedly resigned on June 1. The PM however did not accept his resignation, and asked him to go on leave.
