BNP lawmaker Nizam to head JS body on fisheries

The House yesterday reconstituted the parliamentary standing committee on fisheries and livestock ministry.
BNP lawmaker ABM Ashrafuddin Nizam replaces Jainul Abedin, also an opposition lawmaker, as chairman of the committee.
Jainul was earlier made chairman of the committee. The opposition bench in the parliament protested the decision of the treasury bench for incorporating names of their lawmaker without consent.
The treasury bench yesterday reconstituted the committee following the protest from opposition bench.
