JMB leaflets seized in Khulna, two arrested in Satkhira

Police recovered 19 brochures and some leaflets of the banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Hotel Al- Baraka in city on Saturday night.
On information, Sub-Inspector Abdur Rahman Biswas of Sonadanga Police Station went to the hotel and seized the JMB brochures and leaflets from room no 5.
The SI in his general diary filed with the police station said two persons identified themselves as Hedayet Ali and Md Shah Alam had rented the room on March 19 and went out of the hotel on March 20 keeping the room under lock and key.
Our Correspondent from Satkhira adds: Police arrested two persons suspecting their links with the banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) at Katia Uttarpara of Satkhira town early yesterday.
The arrestees are Jahangir Hossain Mukul, 28, son of Moshiur Rahman of Dhobadi Purbopara of Avoynagar upazila in Jessore, and Abul Kashem, 39, son of Rohimuddin of Berabalki village under Tarakandi upazila of Mymensingh.
