BSF kills two Bangladeshis in Dinajpur

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead two Bangladeshi cattle traders on Anayatpur border under Biral upazila of Dinajpur district yesterday, BDR officials said.
One of the dead was identified as Md Jamaluddin, 35, son of Hazarat Ali of Dharmajoin village under the upazila, while the identity of the other could not be known.
BDR officials of Dinajpur sector quoted villagers as saying that the BSF personnel of Shathibari camp opened fire on Jamaluddin and his associate when they reached near the border at around 5:00am, killing the two on the spot.
Immediately after the incident, the Indian border guards took away the bodies and did not return as of 6:00pm yesterday.
BDR protested the killing and asked its Indian counterpart to return the bodies.
With the death of the two, three Bangladeshi cattle traders were killed in BSF firing on the border under Dinajpur sector in four days, according to BDR officials.
On Tuesday, BSF shot dead a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Katla border under Birampur upazila of the district.
