Attack on US base in Baghdad kills 2

An attack on a sprawling US base near Baghdad airport killed two coalition personnel and wounded 38, the American military said yesterday.
Two third-country nationals were also wounded in Wednesday's attack, the military said. The US military employs hundreds of citizens of non-coalition countries for the whole range of ancillary services from catering to cleaning.
Last month, one person was killed and 11 wounded when Camp Victory was attacked by what the military said was an Iranian-made rocket.
US commanders accused "rogue elements" of the Mahdi Army militia of Shia radical leader Moqtada al-Sadr of being behind that attack.
Earlier two US soldiers died in Iraq on Wednesday in non-combat related incidents, which are now under investigation, the American military said.
One soldier died in an incident in southern Baghdad, a statement said without elaborating.
A second soldier died also in a non-combat incident, another statement said without giving further details.
